Front side: " Murfreesboro, capital of Tennessee June 1, 1818 to April 30, 1826"

Side: "'Resolution Making Murfreesboro State Capital: Resolved by the general assembly of the state of Tennessee, that the next meeting of the general assembly shall be at the town of Murfreesborough in the county of Rutherford, and all public offices therein belonging be removed to the said town of Murfreesborough on or before the first day of June, 1818' Adopted November 24, 1817 House Journal, 1817, page 296"

Back side: "Governors of Tennessee while Murfreesboro was the capital: Joseph McMinn, William Carroll"
